Aluminum turns black when exposed to air for a long time and reacts with other elements. Surface treatment products have corrosion resistance, weather resistance, wear resistance, decorative appearance, long service life, and other characteristics. Commonly used surface treatment processes are anodic oxidation, wire drawing sandblasting oxidation, electrolytic coloring, electrophoresis, wood grain transfer printing, spraying (powder spraying) dyeing, etc. Colors can be customized on request.
WJW ALUMINIUM produces powder-coating aluminum extrusion profiles. We provide you with a wide range of RAL colors, PANTONE colors, and custom colors. Powder-coating finish textures can be smooth, sandy, and metallic. Powder coating gloss can be bright, satin, and matt. WJW ALUMINIUM provides a powder coating service for aluminum extrusions, machined aluminum components, and fabricated aluminum parts.
The powder coating finish on the aluminum surface offers high resistance toward heat, acids, humidity, salt, detergents, and UV. The powder-coating aluminum extrusion profile is very suitable for residential and commercial architectural applications in both indoor and outdoor use, like aluminum frames for windows and doors, ceilings, railings, fences, etc. The powder-coating aluminum extrusion profiles are also commonly used in many general products, such as lighting, auto wheels, household appliances, gym equipment, kitchen products, etc.

▹Process & Steps of Powder Coating Aluminum Extrusions
Automatic electrostatic spraying guns apply the powder coating process on the aluminum extrusion profiles.
1-PRETREATMENT BEFORE POWDER COATING
Removes oil, dust, and rust from the surface of the aluminum extrusions and creates a corrosion-resistant “phosphating layer” or “chromium layer” on the aluminum profile surface, which also can increase the adhesion of the coating.
2-POWDER COATING BY ELECTROSTATIC SPRAYING
The powder coating is evenly sprayed onto the surface of the aluminum extrusion profiles. And coating thickness should be about 60-80um and less than 120um.
3-CURING AFTER POWDER COATING
The powder-coating aluminum extrusion profiles should be placed in a high-temperature oven at about 200 ° C for 20 minutes to melt, level, and solidify the powder. After curing, you will get powder-coating aluminum extrusion profiles.
